Ohio FCCLA State Farm Mini Grants for Financial Literacy
Ohio FCCLA will award Mini-Grants for chapters who develop and propose innovative, creative, and engaging financial literacy and peer mentoring programs for their chapters. Using the FCCLA Planning Process, chapters may be awarded financial assistance for outstanding ideas and project potential. The last deadline to apply for an FCCLA/State Farm Mini-Grant is November 30.
Here are some suggestions that you can do and receive the grant. More than one chapter can do these activities and receive a grant. You may use the money in the grant however you desire. You may buy prizes, t-shirts or supplies.

$avomg our Future
Saving Our Futures contains six chapters and 26 modules that can be used in whole or in part. Four core chapters – Budget, Savings, Trade and Leadership – align with the movie’s introduction of these same topics. The remaining chapters include an Introduction that outlines the purpose and urgency of these lessons and an Action chapter that provides young people with a blueprint to design their own action and advocacy plans. The curriculum also includes an extensive “resources” section and provides opportunities for quality service learning projects.
